Death by chocolate...

David already has two eggs, one from each of us.

One of his Grandmas sent him a Fiver for a nice egg. After wanting to buy a £9 one (and being rebuffed by my refusing him an advance on next week's pocket money) he succombed to five £1 ones from the asda.

I'm trying to persuade him to donate some to our eggs for the needy collection at work, but he remains unswayed at the moment.

Good for him!

We'll ration him to one or two a week, so that lot should last through to May day.

We don't really push Easter, despite the supermarkets shoving it down your throat in every aisle. I used to work for one of the big ones here in Australia and the Easter supplies rolled in just after Christmas, with the big challenge being where to store them all. Easter is a huge season here in Australia, we just choose not to participate, despite our kids protests.

It has been Easter in ASDA since January 5th, when the Cadbury's cream eggs appeared!

Those look like big £1 eggs! I shall have to dash down to Asda.

For a long time we kept quiet about easter eggs. The ones the children were given we ate on the ground that it was bad for them. Can't get away with that now.

Liz, they are rationed to 8 a customer.

It didn't stop a teacher wanting to buy thirty though, for her class.

They probably made her go round four times!
