How big is your bunch?
When I was in my teens, my bunch of keys was very modest- a single tumbler lock key for the front door of our house, generally referred to as a Yale. When I was sixteen or so, I was given a school master key by the caretakers. It was one of three master keys (East, West & Lower School) and I was somewhat privileged to have one but it was to open a store cupboard where the Disco & lighting was stored. I was always a little envious of Colin at the City Hall, who had a building bunch to die for. I took great pleasure in clipping it onto by belt loops when I had just cause to borrow it (for relamping, providing access to hall hirers and being left in charge when he nipped out to Southern Fried Rat in the Haymarket). Bunch envy!
I was reminded of this last night, when I noticed the Town Hall Custodians with their big bunches clipped to their kecks. I imagine this won't be all the keys, just the ones needed on a regular basis. Anyway, I thought I'd share my bunch with the bloggersphere, currently ten keys and a trolley/locker coin on one of those rings you can split in two which was a slimmer of the month prize many years ago.
Ten keys? Front door/back door/front gate/back gate/garage/desk/UPS/car/steering lock/one I'm not certain about!
Update: I've remembered what the mystery key is- it is for network cabinets at work. I can't count either, there are ten (I had nine originally).
Blogger JMB has declared it a meme. Get your bunches out...

The Gordon Brown Meme
Daily referendum is pushing his luck...
2 things Gordon Brown should be proud of:
- getting way with it
- see above
2 things he should apologise for:
- Introducing IR35 (Turnover Tax)
- Scowling at IR35 protestors
2 things he should do immediately when he becomes PM:
- Sort out the East Lothian Question
- Fall on his sword
2 things he should do while he is PM:
- See above.
I tag the same lot as the post below, because I can't be arsed to type it all in again, or think of some other ones.

First records...
Graham at work tells us that this was his first record. (Although his was the Mamas & Papas version).
We had a lad at school called Geoff , or more frequently, Paddy (Patterson). He started knocking around with two lads called Peter & Paul so inevitably- he was nicknamed Mary...
My first record was Jake the Peg, backed with Sun Arise, by Rolf Harris. I swapped it for my Space Hopper on Radio Newcastle Swap shop when I was about 11 or 12.
I'll tag all of the BlogPowersphere to pick up their first record meme.

A ROUND TUIT
I've just got around to taking a procrastination test after putting it off for more important tasks (removing belly button fluff, watching YouTube vids, researching the history of Doileys).
When you get an opportunity, you can take it here, but first you need to sharpen your pencils and arrange your DVDs into zen tantric order.
(I scored a rather respectable 25%, although I may have lied, of course!)
Hat tip: Ian Lidster and Stosyth Parish Council (wherever that is) for the Tuit.

Complicated personality tests made easy
| Your Personality is Very Rare (ESTP) |
![]() Your personality type is dominant, driven, poised, and self-aware. Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 3% of all women and 6% of all men You are Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Perceiving. |
I knew I was an ESTP from a Myers-Briggs test on a training week, although it took a huge (and expensive) Management analysis test with Professor Andrew Kakabadse and his team at Cranfield University twenty years ago rather than twelve questions!

Spring = Summer
I've been tagged by CityUnslicker for the Sping=Summer Meme.
The three things I like about Summer:
-Being able to go out without coats, safe in the knowledge that it is a lovely warm day, not a cloud in the sky and it won't rain (apart from in Manchester).
-Beaches, gardens and theme parks are at their best.
-[Young Man] walking round Coventry at lunchtime admiring the Totty in their Summer togs
-[Middle Age] the end of driving into dazzling low sun in the late afternoon
Just to be an awkward cuss, here are three things I don't like about Summer-
-The incessant drone of lawnmowers
-The nauseous smell of barbecue lighting fluid
-Having to cut the grass every 42 hours
Revenge is sweet- I tag the three newest blogpowerers: Looking for a voice, Crushed by Ingsoc! and Zaftig.

| Your Vocabulary Score: B+ |
![]() You have a zealous love for the English language, and many find your vocabulary edifying. Don't fret that you didn't get every word right, your vocabulary can be easily ameliorated! |
Hard to hat-tip this as it is popping up all over the place.
I'm not certain serendipity is any of their three offered definitions personally.
