Best days of your lives?

You Are an Okay Student

You know how to get by school, but your heart isn't always in it.
Motivation is a problem for you. Maybe you need to study something more exciting!

The results I got don't surprise me.
Essays were started 11.00 PM the night before the 9.0 AM deadline.
University for me didn't involve an excess of work. I reckon I spent 30-40 hours tops on my degree over three years. Hell I still got a 2"2.

I got the same result as you, IG. I don't think I'd be a much better student today, even though I'd like to be! [I'm just too lazy and, whereas I used to leave stuff till the last minute, now I leave it till the minute after that.]

I've been a much better student in more recent years where I have had the motivation and recognised the relevance.

As far as raising the school leaving age to 18 goes, I think it would be better if it was lowered to 15- but then people should be encouraged back after their "gap years" once they have wiser heads on their shoulders.

Welshcakes, dou thik of me as "Eye Gee" or as "Igg"?

I tend to think of myself as "Eye Em Gee" as they are my MS Word document initials.

I was a bad student, but I still managed to get two degrees. Not very impressive in terms of rankings, but you have to do what you have to. So many other better things to do than study. I find as I get older it is harder and harder to motivate an already unmotivated psyche to complete my work required diploma and my nearly finished MBA. Too many other things to spend my time on, including blogging (and washing the dishes).
