Although I still spent Christmases in Newcastle in 1984 with my parents, I don't think I was necessarily still visiting the City Hall so probably wasn't there for this gig.
It still gives me goosebumps, though.

Alan Hull sometimes did this as an accoustic solo, sometimes augmented by the band.
