Karen suggested the blog name be tweaked. Our old purple fiesta battlebus has now been replaced by a not quite so old Fabia- official color Stone Grey.
My other car is an Octavia- Dark Blue which isn't a shade of grey of course. However, there are several listeners in the Morley FM area who think I drive a Pink Skoda- a running gag as we had blagged a 4x4 super stretch Limo for the Morley carnival (reprised in 2006- clip 2).

Why not paint your battlebus a lovely shade of sky blue?
Ah, a Skoda merchant. Good for you. One day the Czechs will be manufacturing some great stuff as they use to before the War.
A grey car hopefully means you don't get stopped by bored traffic cops playing motorway snooker.
This is now our fifth Skoda, having had two Favorits and two octavias. I'd quite like a Superb but can't justify it.
If you had told me I would have been buying Skodas 10 years ago I would have laughed and come out with the two classic jokes...
What do you call a Skoda with a sunroof? A skip.
Skodas now have heated rear windscreens - to keep your hands warm while you are pushing it.
Mind you, I saw some delightfully scabby cars in Moscow and Budapest in the mid 90s that really lived up to the ridicule.
I liked the old colours!
Actually I'm talking Cak, the two favorits were actually Felicias. Favorits were Pants.
Felicia 1 Steel Blue
Felicia 2 Dark Red
Octavia 1 Racing Green
Octavia 2 Dark Blue
Fabia 1 Stone Grey
By the way, all of my cars have been called "Betsy", apart from a renault five I had in the mid 80s- that one was called "Twat".
